Quality Control

Homogeneity measurement conducted within a week of production.
Nutrients are monitored 1, 2, 3 months after production (n = 30 x 2). Then after 6 and 12 months, 10 bottles in duplicates are measured.
After 1 year from production, nutrients are monitored once a year (n = 10 x 2).
During production, culture medium is injected into one of every 50 bottles to check for microbial contamination.
Visual inspections of the bottles containing added culture medium are conducted 1, 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks after production.
After 12 weeks, an aliquot (1mL) from each culture bottle is transferred to separate solid culture plate to test for microbial activities.
These solid culture plates are monitored for growth/no growth for 1 month.
